Ginger Glazed Beef Kabobs and Ore-Ida® Grillers

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 6

A meat and potatoes meal in one recipe.


  1 cup Heinz® Tomato Ketchup

  1/4 cup dry sherry or rice wine

  1 Tbs honey

  1 Tbs minced gingerroot

  1 Tbs Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire Sauce

  2 tsp soy sauce

  1 1/2 lbs trimmed sirloin or other tender grilling steak

  1 small red pepper cut into chunks

  1 small green pepper cut into chunks

  12 button mushroom caps

  2 very thinly sliced green onions as garnish

  6 skewers

1. Prepare Ore-Ida® Grillers according to the directions on the bag.

2. Mix the Heinz® Ketchup, Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire, sherry, honey, ginger and soy sauce.

3. Cut the steak into bite-size pieces, thread steak and vegetables onto skewers.

4. Grill, turning kabobs every few minutes, for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

5. During last couple minutes of grilling, baste with sauce.

6. Sprinkle with green onions and use remaining sauce for dipping.

7. Serve with Ore-Ida® Grillers.
